Thanksgiving 2011

We went out to Wisconsin for the Thanksgiving break and had such a fun time! Eric only had school on Monday that week, and the clinic I work at was closed Thursday and Friday so I was able to get a couple extra days off which was sooo nice. It's always a lot of fun to see and spend time with Eric's family. Since they all live so far away, we have to pack all the family time into just a few weeks out of the year!

We spent Thanksgiving day at Eric's brother Jeremy's house down near Chicago, and it was a lot of fun because there was a Packer game that day. Now, Eric's family are all die-hard true through and through Packer fans who don't let something silly like Thanksgiving get in the way of a big game. Everyone wore their Packer gear that day and we sat around the TV as we ate our turkey dinner. I wish I could have gotten a picture of everyone together because we were quite the site to see! I was able to snap a few pictures of the day with our niece. She is seriously the cutest!

Don't you just love here cute little helmet? Our brother-in-law drew that Packer logo on there for the day, and she could not have looked cuter.
It was such a nice relaxing day filled with amazing food and great company. And the Packers came out with a big W, which was a definite bonus. They are still undefeated this season, so hopefully they can keep it up! In fact, the Packers haven't lost a single game since Eric and I went to the Giants/Packers game last Christmas! We are thinking we may just be their good luck charm... After the game, all the girls went and saw Breaking Dawn, which was a lot of fun. I'd been really excited to see it, and although he doesn't admit it I'm sure Eric was secretly relieved that he didn't have to suffer through it.

It's crazy to think that next year we will have out own little one crawling around all over the place! We are so excited to bring the new little man into our family. I can't believe Thanksgiving is already over and that December is here! Christmas will be here and gone before we even know it. Man oh man.
