Go Badgers!

Eric's parents have had season tickets to the Wisconsin Badger football games for decades, and I have been hearing about how amazing these games are literally since the day Eric and I met. So when Eric's parents let us use their tickets for the Badger vs Penn State game while we were there, you can imagine how excited I was. And I am here to tell you that I was not disappointed! The atmosphere at those games is absolutely incredible and unlike anything I have experienced before. You can sense the rich tradition everywhere you look. It was pouring rain the day of the game, but there was still a tangible buzz in the air and the stadium was completely packed. We had such a blast at the game despite the rainy weather, and the Badgers won which is always a bonus!

VICTORY!

After the game we met up with Eric's friends, which is always a highlight of our trips to Wisco. Eric is so happy when he gets together with his friends and I have loved getting to know them and their wives/fiances over the last few years. We got the night started of right with some Ian's pizza, known for their unique types of pizza. Eric got a slice of cheese steak pizza and I got a slice of delicious mac and cheese. It was a great night and we had a lot of fun catching up with everyone and can't wait to see them all again.
