Hospital Stay

I had such a great experience at the hospital. When we moved to the Twin Cities area a couple of months ago I was a little nervous about the transition to a new OBGYN and delivering at a new hospital, but I could not have been happier with the experience I had. The doctors were all wonderful and all of the nurses were so nice, helpful, attentive and kind.

I was worried about Brody the whole time I was at the hospital, so we decided that Eric would go home every night to be with him when he would wake up and help him with the transition. Plus then at least one of us would get a good comfortable night's sleep! One advantage to this was that I was really able to bond with Brooklyn while we were in the hospital together. It was really a special time for me to get to spend a lot of one on one time with her and get to know her better.

I'm not a huge fan of hospital food, so we had Jimmy John's delivered to us several times while at the hospital. They really do deliver as fast as they say they do!
Love my new precious little one.
Eric's parents were so helpful to help watch Brody while I delivered and was at the hospital. I don't know what we would have done without them!

My favorite moment of our hospital stay was when Brody came to the hospital for the first time and got to meet his sweet new baby sister. It was a special memory that I will treasure always.

We stayed at the hospital from Wednesday night until Friday afternoon. Eric and Brody came to pick us up so we could go home together as our new family of 4!

I just love them all so much!
Brody's thoughts about not having all of the attention on himself all the time anymore... at least he got some balloons out of it?!
