Brody: 8 Months

• This little man is now on the move! He started crawling at about 7 and a half months and is now moving ALL over the place. He is so happy to be able to get around to wherever he wants and I love watching him develop this new-found independence. 
• The first word that Brody started saying was "dada" (which of course Eric loved). He now says "baba" and "mama" too. 
• He now has 6 teeth- four on top and two on bottom.
• He is eating finger foods, which is so fun. I've loved watching his fine motor skills and coordination getting better and better as he's learned this new skill. Some of his favorites are Gerber puffs and yogurt melts, bananas, and avocados.
• Brody has developed a love for his blue silky blanket from his great grandma Leora. He sleeps with it each night and every morning when I pick him up he looks back into his crib and reaches for it. As soon as I pick it up and put it over my shoulder he buries his face into it and holds it close with a big grin on his face.

 We are loving this stage of Brody's life so much! It just keeps getting better and better.
