Best. Birthday. Ever.

I had the best birthday surprise of my life this year when Eric showed up completely unexpected to spend the weekend with me. Friday was the day before my birthday and that night I was sitting alone in my dark room, wondering what I would end up doing the next day. Eric had called me earlier that day to let me know he was going to dinner at a coworker's house that night and that his phone was about to die. I didn't think anything of it until I heard my doorbell ring and Eric came running in. That man is just full of surprises, I tell you! I just hugged him and cried. There is nothing that could have made me happier than being there in that moment with him. We had so much fun just spending time together that weekend. It was the most perfect birthday I could have even imagined and I loved every second of it.
