On Wisconsin -- Rose Bowl 2012

Ah, how I LOVE the smell of the roses on New Years Day! When I was young and growing up in Pasadena, CA, we would wake up early every year on new years and go down to watch the amazing Rose Parade. Those are some of my fondest memories growing up, and although it's not quite the same as seeing it in person I look forward to waking up early each year to watch the parade on TV. Eric was so sweet this year to wake up early and watch it with me.

For the second year in a row, the Badgers were in the Rose Bowl. And for the second year in a row, they experienced a heart-wrenching loss, this year to the Oregon Ducks. But that didn't stop us from having a fun time as we watched it! We had some friends and family over and had a great time hanging out during the game. Erin is awesome and even bought a Wisconsin sweatshirt to show her support! And even though they lost, Eric can always have pride knowing that the Badgers have the best band around. Until next year!
