Sleepwalker

 Eric is a sleepwalker.

He and his family have some pretty funny stories of him doing some pretty crazy things in his sleep growing up, including things like him waking up in the middle of hotel lobbies with nothing on but a blanket wrapped around him.

Ever since we've been married, I have been woken up many, many times to Eric wandering around our little apartment and saying funny things in his sleep. I have been thinking about it and I've decided that these things really should be recorded so that our future posterity can enjoy them for generations to come. Here are just a few of my favorites:

-I woke up one night to Eric standing next to our closet, pulling down one t-shirt at a time and throwing it on the floor. He had no idea why he had a huge pile of clothes in the middle of our room the next day.

-In the middle of the night a few months ago, I woke up to Eric mumbling something in his sleep. I heard him saying something about his shoulder hurting and I drifted back to sleep. The next thing I knew, I woke up again to some movement coming from Eric's side of the bed. I looked over to find Eric doing push ups on our bed in his sleep! When I told him about it the next morning he had no recollection of any of it. He simply said "If only I could get more exercise in my sleep! Think of how much time I'd save!"

-One night Eric kept getting up out of bed wandering around our apartment. I kept telling him to come back to bed but he kept getting up throughout the night. If I cuddle with him it helps because then I can feel him getting out of bed and sometimes stop him. So finally I said "just come over and spoon me!" I could feel a bunch of rustling around on his side of the bed and I finally asked him what he was doing. He said in a very frustrated voice, "I can't find a spoon!" hahaha I love it!
