My friend Britney is leaving for her mission to the Ukraine this week, so we were lucky enough to go hear her farewell last Sunday in her ward. Hearing her speak reminded me of why I love her so much and hope that she is my friend forever. Britney is hands-down the funniest person I have ever met. She carries this special energy around her everywhere she goes and has a way of walking into a room and having everyone rolling on the floor in laughter within minutes. I had the opportunity of living and playing tennis with Britney for a year up at Utah State, and she made sure that every day of that year was filled with fun and laughter.

Britney's farewell was amazing. She had us laughing, crying, and at some points doing both at the same time! She has a love for the gospel that permeates through her smile and energy, and I know that she will have such an influence for good on the people of Ukraine (even if she does have to speak to them in Russian!) I was so impressed by her strong testimony and excitement to serve a mission. I am so lucky to be able to call Britney a friend, and I am so grateful for the wonderful example that she is to me. She is going to be an incredible missionary, and any guy will be so lucky to end up with her once she gets back!
