Brewers Day 2

On Saturday, we went to a day game at Miller Park and it was like nothing else I have ever experienced before. Tailgating is a HUGE part of going to Brewers games. I had seen smaller tailgating parties at things like University of Utah football games, but nothing like this. The game didn't start until 3:00 pm, but this is the line of cars waiting to get into the parking lot at 11:30 am! Brewers fans know how to do it right, making a whole day event out of a game.

The stadium... waiting to let us into the parking lot. Kind of a cool fact: the roof of the stadium can be completely open (like in this picture) so that on nice days it is an outdoor stadium, and then it can close completely so the stadium is indoors if needed for bad weather. Pretty cool!

Grilling up some brats and hot dogs!

Playing a game of "bags." You set two boards up about 20-30 (?) feet apart from each other and try to throw beanbags into the hole or onto the board across from you to score points. This game was everywhere! Just about everyone tailgating had a game of this set up by their car. Here, we had two different games going. Since we got there so early, we got a front row spot in the parking lot and had the whole sidewalk to play! Score.

Eric with his guys: Chris, Matt, Pat and Ryan.

Best friends watchin the game.

We had so much fun on this trip! Thanks to Matt and Jen for letting us stay at their house and drink all of their Diet Cokes. :) Now, if only the Brewers could get a win...
