I finished semester three of four of my nursing program at the beginning of May! So with a nice week-long break before the next semester started, we decided to take a fun trip to WISCONSIN! Eric grew up in Madison, WI and still has most of his family and friends there. He also is a huge Milwaukee Brewers fan and has been dying to show me what the true major league experience is like. Eric's parents were our gracious hosts for the first part of the trip in Madison, where we were able to spend lots of fun time with family and friends. It's always good to catch up with them because we see them so rarely. Then, we headed over to Milwaukee for a few fun-filled days of brats, bags, and baseball! I must admit that I was slightly skeptical that Eric had talked up the whole experience at Miller Park, but it truly was amazing. There really is nothing else quite like it.
We went to two games while we were there. The first game was a night game so I got to experience a game under the lights! We had incredible seats and felt like we were right in the middle of all the action. Even though they lost, the experience was still amazing!
Me, Eric, Matt and Jen!
One of the many traditions at Brewers games is the Sausage Race in the middle of the sixth inning. These five sausages race around the field at every game and the crowd tries to guess who will win! haha It's awesome. There's the bratwurst, the Polish sausage, the Italian sausage, the hot dog, and the chorizo!
