Carcassonne

Carcassonne is one of our very favorite games to play. We had a really fun game night a few weekends ago with one of our favorite gaming couples, Sean-Paul and Jen. We spend many weekend nights til wee hours of the morning playing games with these two and this night was no exception. Carcassonne is unique because you build the board as you go and add your little characters on the pieces as you lay them down to get points. This particular night we went all out and played with several expansions, which made for quite the battle!

I promise this game will provide hours of fun. Eric and I even play just the two of us sometimes and it's a blast! One of our favorites for sure.

A Love for Games

Those who know Eric know that he is THE boardgame man...and it is truly a title that he holds near and dear to his heart. We love playing games with one another and with family and friends, and Eric loves learning about new games and is always looking for new ones to try. It all started with his love for monopoly (as you can see from the many versions we have on the bottom shelf!) and really just grew from there. If there is any way that I can think of to get Eric to contribute to this blog, it would be talking about boardgames! So we will see if this is the beginning of things to come... :)

Some of our favorites right now are:
Dominion, Ticket To Ride, Wits and Wagers, Carcassone, Scribblish and the Monopoly and Catan card games.

We love game nights, so let us know if anyone wants to play! I love that Eric has a hobby that we can do together and that will provide a great way for our family to spend quality time together for years to come.
