Our First Minnesota Spring

We feel like true Minnesotans for surviving our first MN winter. I think we should earn a badge for making it through. It was a doozy! I have a new found respect for people who have lived here for years and years and survived winter after winter.

Now that the temps are up we know to truly cherish every moment we are able to be outside. We've had a rainy, rainy spring which has made us even more antsy to get out every chance we can. We frequent the parks close to our house almost daily and even got to venture to the outside part of our zoo!

Eric has an especially bad case of cabin fever and is ready to move to Arizona. Hopefully the warm temps will convince him otherwise, because I'm not ready to pack up and move again just yet.

Best buds at the zoo
Eric talked us into going for a walk in the rain... it was actually a lot of fun!
Clasping her hands in delight! This little girl can't get enough of the swings.
Playing dress ups on a rainy day.
Pajama party with our best friend Xander!
We don't wait until church is over to start our Sunday naps.
Family fun time at Rita's
Big Bugs at the zoo!
