Grandpa's 2 Hour Visit

My dad had to travel out to the BYU vs Notre Dame football game in South Bend, so he booked a 4 hour layover in Minneapolis on his way home so he could come visit us! I was so excited the whole week leading up to his visit and felt like a kid on Christmas morning on the day he was coming. I woke up at 4 am and couldn't fall back asleep. We hadn't seen my dad since we moved 5 months ago and he was worried Brody wouldn't remember him. But Brody went right up to him and laid his head on my dad's should right when he saw him, just like he used to do. Heart melted. It was his first time meeting Brooklyn and seeing our place, and we had such a great time while he was here.

We can't wait to see him and the rest of my family in just a few weeks when we travel to Utah for Christmas!
