Our Second Anniversary

We had a wonderful, laid back anniversary celebration this year. Our anniversary was on a Wednesday night- I had to work and Eric started his second semester of school that day. Last year we went to Happy Sumo and decided to go with tradition and do it again this year. It was such a delicious dinner and we had a great evening talking about the last year and all that we have to look forward with this upcoming one. I sat there at dinner thinking about how grateful I am to be married to my very best friend and how close we have become over these past two years since we were married. I feel like my life is changed for the better for marrying Eric and I am so grateful for the amazing husband he is.

We talk often about how this is such a transitional time in our lives- Eric is in school working so hard and I have been working full time providing our income. Eric helps me all the time at home cleaning, doing laundry, and cooking most of the meals because I get home pretty late from work each night. While we look forward to the time when he can be the provider for our family and I can be a mom and fulfill other roles in life, its been a great thing for both of us to see the other side of the coin and help each other out so much in different ways.

I love Eric so much and I look forward to all that our future has in store for us!
